Trauma Symptom Checklist for Children (TSCC)

Evaluates acute and posttraumatic symptoms in children

The TSCC is a self-report measure of posttraumatic stress and related psychological symptomatology in children who have experienced traumatic events (e.g., physical or sexual abuse, major loss, natural disaster, witness violence).

 

ASSESSMENT SCALES

The 54-item TSCC includes two validity scales: Under-response and Hyper-response, eight critical items, as well as six clinical scales:

  • Anxiety

  • Anger

  • Sexual Concerns

  • Depression

  • Posttraumatic Stress

  • Dissociation


AREAS OF APPLICATION

The TSCC is most commonly usedand bestsuited for therapeutic settings.


REPORT OPTION

Since the TSCC is a hand-scorable assessment, there are currently no software reports available.


SOUTH AFRICAN RESEARCH

Although South African research is not currently available for the TSCC, JVR Psychometrics welcomes the opportunity to partner with clients in conducting research studies.
